The Winter Exhibition is set to warm you up running for two weeks from 11 – 24 June.

The Official Opening Night is Thursday 13^th June at 7pm.

Join us for a social evening and to find out who will be judged winner in show by guest judge Greg Murray, owner of Customs Wharf Gallery, proudly sponsored by Lukas – and Senior Art Supplies.

The winter show also coincides with a special Open Day of the Victorian Artist Society on Saturday 22^nd June, 11am-4pm.

Featuring: VAS Members Winter Exhibition; Plein Air painting; Public viewing of the Studio in action, Demonstrations of Painting & Drawing, Lectures about VAS and its proud history; Art suppliers, framers, printers and associated advisors on site to assist; Meet Members (artists) face to face; Teaching advice for students and potential artists; Book stall with discounts galore!

Enrolments, Membership and Tickets for People Painting People will be available on the day.

To be opened by Deputy Lord Mayor Susan Riley, followed by Lady Mayoress, Emma Page Campbell and will feature the VAS Portrait Exhibition , Nada Hunter & Norma Bull Awards. There will be demonstrations from three talented Award Artists who will choose three people from the audience to paint….it could be you! There will also be Music, Wine, Canapes and fun!

A classic Plein Air Exhibition from VAS members paint out days will run in the Cato Gallery downstairs.

Send in day Wednesday 10th July $10 per entry (up to 3 per person).

31st July -13th August

The Melbourne Society of Women Painters and Sculptors will be exhibiting.

Opening Night Thursday 22^nd August at 7pm

The Spring Exhibition runs from August 19 – September 1. The winner of the Deputy Lord Mayor’s Award, sponsored by Mr. Gordon Moffat will be announced on Opening Night.

A VAS Fellows exhibition with a lecture celebrating past members on the Friday 30^th August at 6.30pm.

3rd-15th October in the Hammond Gallery

The Wildlife Art Society of Australasia presents ‘Wildlife Now’.  This exciting exhibition & sale of contemporary 2 and 3-d works is in support of BirdLife Australia.

The general public are invited to view and purchase various VAS artists works that are displayed in this gallery space.

Members artworks will be displayed continuously and refreshed on a monthly basis.
