2 Day Workshop


10.00am - 3.30pm

This course is for intermediate to advanced watercolour artists keen to take their art to new levels of spontaneity, making maximum impact with minimum brushstroke. Amanda is a tonal realist impressionist and uses minimal colour to capture the light and tone of a subject, although she caters for colourists as well!  Her subjects will be varied and interesting and students will enjoy the intense teaching and reward from her instruction.

About the artist...

Amanda Hyatt has been a professional artist for 32 years and is a member of the VAS, TMPS, AWI and WSV. She has had 33 solo exhibitions and has won many major awards including the Camberwell Gold Medal, the Bale, the Kenneth Jack and was Artist of the Year at the VAS in 2011. She has also won the Norman Kaye Medal at the VAS. She has many media productions including three APV Films and two Colour in your Life episodes. She has also a book "Watercolour: Tonal Impressionism" available through Amazon Books. See her website or details.
